10,000meals and counting

Chef Rudi and Officer Johnathan's staff of 324 out of  the 800 ship's complement can really only be described by the photos I took that have been forwarded to HAL then to the Dutch blog www.manbijthond.nl/charlotte---or look at the niewsbriefen section of http://www.manbijthond/. I will enter them myself as a scrapbook at the end of the cruise.

The food trays, galley grills at 1,600 degrees and liquor stores had me at hello....
Stacks and stacks of provisions--snails bottles boxed, jasimine rice by the 50 lbs bag. It was really as far as aI could see through the dery stores--pallets of goodies. The crew alone goes through 9 bags of 50 lbs each of rice per day for their Indonesian diet---didn't get down below though to taste their own cooik's spicy fare.

again--lots of thought in the design of the ship's systems. The diswashers separate one type of soap for scummy dishes and another to keep the glasses sparkly. Only the pictures can do this operations justice--after all, it is almost half the crew aboard.
