Death by chocolate...

This business of advancing the clock an hour per day as we cross brings up the coktail hour a lot sooner. How could I resist a chocolate and wine paring tasting. As long as I can fit it in between a foot massage and Tai chi on deck at sunset, I can still get a minute to report to you all there landbound.

Tip of the tasting from Cellar master Saurabh is that cabernet goes best with the new offering by Lindt which is a 77% cocoa content....but,really, at this point of decadence, who really cares?
In a nonsequitor, though, there is one interesting fact that shows the interrelationship of all the components of our little city at sea. It is the beneficial effect of using Azipod engines mounted on the rotating element of the propulsion system. Not only does that design eliminate the rudder, but the crank shaft through the body of the ship does not exist. Therefore, there is less vibration of the whole ship and----ta dah--drum roll---the wine in storage sits more comfortably, reducing sedimentation and stress on the wine while it is cellared....brilliant as my Welsh Cousin Jean would say. And a Happy 80th birthday to you my dear there in Swansea!
